Xbox 360 Slim Acting Strange

My Xbox has been acting weird lately. I hopped onto Minecraft and loaded a world. Once in the world my screen was very dark. I am unable to turn my character, I cannot use the analog sticks in the inventory, my characters hand and pickaxe does not show.
The game was running perfectly fine the other day. Signing in is taking long now, I also go to use Hulu and sometimes it will bring me back to the dashboard or it takes forever to load. Anyone know what may be causing such strange functions? I fear it may
continue to worsen.

Xbox wont automatically sign in after update

My brother just bought a new Xbox 360 Slim, so I can troubleshoot with his as well to be 100% sure this issue is exclusive to my Slim. I see myself having Xbox repair my console as well, it has been acting kind of strange lately actually.

 

Dashboard Update not popping up?

strange i was able to update my old xbox 360 but not my 360 slim

 

Thats somewhat been happening to me as well, Ill be on a downloaded game or app and then get send back to dashboard but I'm getting system and error messages and have to update but i have to restart my console like 3 times to get the update cause it says
that i dont have the 190 MB space require when i have 124 GB free space. 2 friends and I were playing that Dust at the same time and we all got sent back to the dashboard for no reason.

 

Ya I know, it's weird. I'm not sure if it's my console that is messed up or if it is something else. I just hopped onto Minecraft and it is still having the same issues as last time. I am getting the impression that it won't be resolved.

 

If you play Minecraft, does it act weird for you too? Dark screen, controls are messed up, in hand item won't show. If that's not happening to you then it could just be me, lol. I don't know though...

Sorry to hear about the issues. Are you only experiencing the issues with Minecraft or is it with other games?

I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Turn off your Xbox 360 console by pressing and holding the Xbox Guide button for 3 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and wait 5 minutes.
• Plug in your console and press the guide button on your controller to power on your console.
  
• Clear the cache on Xbox 360 console.

I followed your above advice in order. I am not sure if it resolved anything or not. I am still experiencing the same issues I have had before with Minecraft. So far I have only had those issues with that game. Every other game runs normally. I downloaded
Minecraft from the Xbox LIVE marketplace. The day before the game was running normally. I got the impression it was my Xbox reaching the end of it's life.

 

Also I purchased my Xbox off of a website. It was Amazon I think or it could have been a different site. It is an Xbox 360 Slim. The person I bought it from had a good rating for selling reliable products. When I recieved the Xbox it has been running great
up until recently.

 

Lol, I just solved the problem. I had to reset my game to default settings. Now it works, yay!
