Xbox 360 slim 4gb red dot [Not rrod]

Hello,

Today I bought a case to put a hard disk into the xbox, i took a 60gb laptop hard disk and put it into the case and then into the console. Then I turned on the console and I got the dot in the center of the power button red and an error on the screen. I
think the hard disk still had data on it, could this be the problem? Thanks.

Red light on power button

When I turn on my xbox 360 slim 4gb, after a few seconds, the power button is with a red dot and nothing appears on the tv. After trying to connect like 10 times it works normally. Does anyone know what can be?

my xbox 360 turns red with an E82 error on screen......tried different HDMI and also different TV...please help

The red dot seems like an Xbox 360 slim model, if it's like the same post as in this link....

It looks like it's the Red Dot of Death, if it's a solid red dot, it's Hardware Failure as in the console has died,

Best option would be to upgrade to an Xbox One / S / X, or to save up and wait until late November - December for the Xbox Series S / X.

I have the Xbox 360 Slim. It has the red dot of death not the RRoD. There's nothing blinking, flashing, or winking at me. It's just the power icon lit up red. I've been researching this issue for over a week and that's about all I've learned. I'll
look around at the site you directed me to just to see if there's something newer. Thank you!

Its a red dot now.

Not 100 % sure but i think the E model has no hard drive as standard,its only 4gb.

The old red ring issue isn`t fully gone,its now a red dot of death on the slims,but much less likely to happen than on the old versions.
