    Xbox 360 Slim 4GB: Internal Drive Issue


    My brother booted up his Xbox Slim earlier today and all of his profiles and saved games were gone. When checking the system storage I can see that the max capacity is 3GB and there is 30mb of free space left. However, when I go into the storage all of the
    folders show nothing inside and all say 0kb. It's like the Xbox knows there's stuff on the drive, but it can't recognize the content as profiles/saved games. I tried downloading my own profile and that works fine and is now the only thing that shows up in
    the folders. My brother doesn't use Xbox Live, so was unable to use the cloud storage.

    Is there any way to save my brother's files? =\

    WHAT I'M SAYING IS THAT THE XBOX 360 4GB SLIM IS INTERNAL & CAN HAVE A HARD DRIVE ADDED TO IT, WHEN THE XBOX 360 250GB SLIM IS ALREADY HARD DRIVE MEMORY AND HAS NO INTERNAL MEMORY, SO IF MONEY DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE WOULD ANYONE HERE CHOOSE, I RECKON GET
    THE 4GB SLIM AND ADD THE HARD DRIVE BUT DO YOU GUYS THINK THE SAME???

    Xbox 360 Slim 4GB: Internal Drive Issue

    Sorry to hear it. If the internal drive is unable to be read then you may need to reformat it. If that doesn't work you may need to get an official Xbox Hard drive for the console or send the console in for a repair/replacement.

    Also, if you cannot see any of the files on the console then there is no way to retrieve them.

    If you are using a 4GB 360 slim console you will need to purchase an official 360 Hard Drive. The BF4 install is not compatiable with flash memory. Meaning you cannot use a flash drive or the internal memory on the 4GB slim console

    the xbox 360 250gb slim already is a hard drive but the 4gb is internal memory so once again i still haven't got a proper answer
