    alot of you keep posting saying (omg don't shut down i can't afford an xbox one) or something close to that but lets face it we seen at E3 they will be allowing backwards compatibility to the xbox one allowing for xbox 360 games to be played there and played
    online as well so face it the servers are not shutting down unless microsoft them self says they are shutting down the servers

    I'm leaving Gaming altogether, if they shut down support for the 360.

    I'm sick of being treated like a cash cow to be milked whenever some bright spark gets an idea for a new piece of tech., or a newer version of an existing game. I don't want more pixels, I want better games!

    Forza 4 has just reached "EoL" and has been pulled COMPLETELY, from the marketplace. THE largest and most used racing and driving sim in console history, abandoned. I fear the 360 console is next. Well, due to MS shortsightedness, they have singlehandedly
    put me off gaming for life! I've spend HUNDREDS of £ building my system and game library, and was looking forward to seeing these games through. BUT ....not anymore.

    Well done TURN10! ....Well done Microsoft! You sure know how to kill a dream!

    Xbox 360 servers shutting down in 2016 ???

    As of 2 days ago the Xbox one has made more profit in just under 2 years the the xbox 360 has in 5 years. Microsoft has considered this as a milestone and is confident that shutting down the xbox 360 servers by the end of 2016 will make at least 70 percent
    of the players on the 360 switch to the xbox one. I love my 360 but I got the one about 3 months ago. Ive bought many games and have so much history on the 360 but it just cant compare to the xbox one. And once windows 10 is released to the xbox one, sales
    will sky rocket. Before the xbox 360 servers are shut down it is expected that 80 % of the xbox community will be or will be extremely close to getting on the xbox one.

    I'm not sure when, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. I think as long as the 360 servers stay active they won't wanna shut the servers down.

    Perhaps in 3 years the XB1 price will drop like the 360 and it will make others able to afford the system. Maybe once then MS will consider dropping the 360 servers. I mean they did do it with the original XBOX, correct? And everyone found their way to the
    360.
