Xbox 360 saves on Xbox one X

Can you provide some more details please? Trying to find a solution. Have you been playing Xbox 360 games on a Xbox one before you bought your Xbox One X? Or have you just migrated from the 360 to the One X?

If the later, make sure your 360 was connected to Xbox live and saved game files were saved to the cloud.

You will not lose your games saves when you upgrade to the Xbox One X from Xbox One as your game saves are stored on the Cloud.

You don't have to transfer game saves from the Xbox One to the Xbox One X.

They (game saves) will sync once your console (Xbox One X) is connect to the internet.

And here a food for thought. Why is it that when you play classic Xbox games on the 360 why it saves to the hard drive with a added patch BUT you cannot do the same thing with 360 games on the Xbox one or Xbox one x, why not just have a simple extra patch
that allows you to save games to the hard drive of your new console?

You need to save to the cloud on your Xbox 360 to have access to backwards compatible game saves.

Saves are saved locally to the hard drive, then sync to the Cloud. You still need Gold for Cloud saves on the 360, though you will not need Gold to save 360 games while playing them on your X Box One. So to import your 360 saves to your X Box One your would
have to buy a month of Gold on your 360.
