Xbox 360 saved games on Xbox one.

I'm trying to get my xbox 360 game saves to sync with the cloud on Xbox One. But they just keep saying pending upload. I read around on the forms saying that you can go to active downloads to check the progress but I believe that's only on Xbox 360. So
how do I check the progress of saved game uploads on a backwards compatible title on Xbox One?

Copy Dead Island Riptide Save game from 360 to Xbox One

All - I have a Dead Island Riptide saved game on Xbox 360 (YES it is saved to cloud games!!) and I have Dead Island Riptide Definitive edition on the Xbox One running under the same profile. Is there anyway to use my saved game from 360 with all the weapons?

My guess is it doesn't see it because the definitive edition for xbox one is different than just riptide for 360 - is that true? Thanks

Xbox LIve on 360 and Xbox One - Same Account?

My son has an account on Xbox Live he uses with his 360; he's been playing NBA 2K14 and I assume his info and game profile stuff is being saved there.

I know he can't play the 360 game on the One. If I get him NBA 2K14 for the One, will the game pull in any info for the game that's saved on Xbox Live and use it in the game?

Is Xbox Live for Xbox One COMPLETELY SEPARATE from Xbox Live for Xbox 360?

If you push the View and Menu buttons (Select and Start) on the controller while in a 360 game then the old 360 menu will come up instead of the Xbox One menu. There may be more information there.

That is where i got the information i stated above. If you view the 360 game in my games and apps and try to view saved data, theres nothing there. Only thing that shows up is reserved space. Im confused as to way xbox one doesnt have a menu to view and
manage 360 game saves. Only way to do it currently is to load up a 360 game and even then there are parts of the 360 dashboard missing that connect with the 360 game saves (Like the download menu) where the upload status for the saves should be.

Be aware that the saving for Xbox 360 backwards compatible games on the Xbox One is a bit more complicated than saving on an original Xbox 360, or game saves for actual Xbox One games.

The Xbox 360 games have no idea of the Xbox One's concept of "suspending" games and multitasking.

So if you are done playing a Xbox 360 game, you HAVE TO make sure to properly quit the game by going to the Home Screen, and pressing the Menu button on the main game tile.

There choose to Quit the Xbox 360 game.

Only then the game will properly write the save file and is ready to be synchronized and uploaded to the cloud.

Also: NAT as well as Gold memberships don't affect saving on the Xbox One. You only need Gold to use the cloud save on a real Xbox 360 console.

if the save game is correctly saved on Xbox Live via cloud storage and the 360 game is supported via Backwards compatibility on Xbox One and you are using the same account on Xbox One as on the Xbox 360 then the save game should be available.

The original Xbox games saves cannot be transferred. You will have to start those games again on the Xbox One if you want to play them. As for the Xbox 360 game saves, they can be saved to the cloud using the xbox 360, and they automatically transfer over
when you play a 360 game on the One. All saves on the Xbox One are stored on the cloud, and on the Xbox One. You can find the saves for each game by highlighting your game on my games and apps, press the menu button on controller and select manage game, and
from there you can find your saves.

I just tried on several games both quitting from Xbox One menu and 360 Guide Menu (Leave game) with no success. Save games are still in upload pending status.
