Xbox 360 save issues on Xbox 1

I am tryung to play the back Compatible games but it’s not allowing me to save they games because it won’t allow me to sign in? is this nirmal or do i need to do somthing ?

Xbox One sync data issues

That's one of the differences between Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. With Xbox 1, your "game saves" are saved to Xbox Live servers, not your console like with Xbox 360. There is a save to cloud option with Xbox 360, but the storage space is very limited.

Game saves compatibility question

Are Xbox 360 game saves compatible with the Xbox 1 version of the game? As in, if I had an Xbox 360 game and I got the Xbox 1 version of the game soon after, would the Xbox 1 version be able to grab the save file from the Xbox 360 version through the cloud
and play it? Assuming that both games are being played on their respective consoles.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your post. It looks like a backwards compatible game is giving issues with saving game data, to troubleshoot this, try clearing the locally saved data on your Xbox One console and allowing it to re-sync. To do so, follow the steps below.

Enter Settings for the Xbox One

Select System

Choose Storage

Select Clear local Xbox 360 Storage

Allow the console to restart

This should clear Xbox 360 save data and should allow you to continue creating new save games.

Its very weird, but on both Xbox 1 and the 360, there is no save cloud registered for Peggle.

but Ive very recently played the game.

Ive deleted all save files for Peggle on 360 and that works there with starting a brand new game, but I also uninstalled Peggle on both 360 and Xbox 1, restarted my Xbox 1 - along with turned off clound syncing on 360- and yet when I reinstalled Peggle the
cloud save is still there

Doesn’t matter with the Xbox 1 version of Peggle, i can still start a brand new game on my 360.

I currently don't have an xbox 1 or 360, I'm still saving up for a 360!

This happened to me too 1 day after the original poster here. This appears to be a larger problem with Xbox One, i too am playing an xbox 360 game on xbox one. I always save with quit, and now my cloud saves are missing. Can an mvp moderator please escalate
this issue to Microsoft?
