    Update Failed Error Code 4497-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570

    My XBox 360 S 4GB keeps requiring a system update which will not install.

    I am getting the error "Can't download the update. To tet your connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Live Connection.

    Status Code: 4497-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570

    I have tried formatting the hard drive, cleaning system cache, cleaning xbox updates, trying to install from a USB drive, etc.

    Has anyone been able to fix this error or have other suggestions of things to try??

    LowerEastSide24, the last public update was on Dec 11 2014. Either your hard drive (or internal 4gb storage) is failing and causing the xbox unable to read that it has the update or you are in the preview program which had an update on March 31st.

    If you are part of the preview program, you should be posting in the preview program forums. The preview program is about beta testing and problems can arise. It's part of the risk in partaking in a beta.

    If you are not part of the preview program then you have an obvious hard ware failure somewhere.

    Im in the same situation as you man. My xbox was fine up until 2 days ago but now i cant download the system update to get online. If you ask me they owe us a brand new xbox

    Especially since, as you can read many others have had, it was working perfectly until their update of December 2.

    You obviously did not attempt every suggestion.

    Misses Quinzel - "The last step in order to resolve this error code is to send your console in for repair; that is how we can fix this particular code. If you have a 4GB internal flash memory on your console, this is the only place that the update will
    install, and it will need to be repaired in order for this console to take an update."

    Unfortunately, it sounds like a hardware issue. You were given this answer by official support in January.
