Xbox 360 S update error 416b 0000 3080 0506 8007 0070

Hello, My Xbox 369 Slim refuses to download the latest update. I've googled, I've been through the support guides and forum posts but I've had no luck. Reformatted the hard drive, cleared the cache, tried installing by USB, even tried a wired internet connection
in case my WiFi was being weird. Obviously I can't take the hard drive out as its internal flash on the slim, but this error code is doing my head in...

Xbox will not update - status Code - 3f45-0000-3080-0506-8007-2ee2

So i have just bought a Brand New xbox 360 4GB. All set up and Working great ... Right lets get back on xbox live.

Xbox needs to do an update ...

^^^ This is the Error code i keep getting no matter what i do :/ So i cannot get xbox live ...

Yes my network/Internet connection are fine, its the updates from Microsoft which are stopping me

Sounds like you may be out of space for the update. Try deleting some items to free up the required amount.

I've already reformatted the hard drive and cleared the cache, I've just cleared the cache again but when I try to reformat the hard drive it tells me

'a required storage device has been removed. Your console will now restart'

It didn't help the update situation, came up with the same error message unfortunately .

More solutions please

 

If you're getting an error saying that the drive has been removed and you only have the internal flash then your console needs to be repaired. You can set up a repair at the link posted below:

Wait... Can't be the internal flash hard drive, my hard drive is now reformatted and it's able to save games without any hassle. It's holding the saves and not corrupting, but if I try to do anything online i have to try and install the update...had there
actually been an update or is this a case of buggy software?

 

Solved it, I looked up on a forum that if you go into settings>system>storage and then pressed 'left bumper, right bumper, X, left bumper, right bumper, x' it gives u an option to clear the last update or something, then restarts and downloads it again...worked
for me!

Can't believe I was so close to paying over £70 for a repair when all I had to do was mash a few buttons...thanks for the suggestions!

I tried what you did, but didnt work. Still coming up the with the error code 40A3-0000-0080-0300-8007-0070. I am about to take my xbox to the Microsoft Store.

 

I'm getting the same error code and tried the above suggested and still nothing, everything on my drive has been cleared...
