Xbox 360 S unable to connect to Samsung Q series TV

since the only thing it isn't working with is that particular TV you should contact Samsung support or try connecting it through some kind of adapter or switcher that would change the HDMI chip it's talking to

The Xbox 360 is no longer supported so no updates or changes would be made to the system

Lezazazel, in order to rule out and isolate the problem, the first thing to do is to try to connect that console to a different TV and in this way verify if the image is detected normally.

Keep in mind that an Xbox 360 generation console has a maximum resolution of 720P, so when connecting it to a current TV which sets it to 1080P, 1920P or even 4K, it is understandable that it will not be able to detect the 720P signal that your console has.

Can confirm this is the case here, too. Doesn't work with Sky Q or any 4K-output device.

Have you tried setting the 360's output to 720p (or 1280x720) while connected to the monitor, then moving it to the Samsung 1080p TV?

My kids have a Samsung UA55D7000 LED Tv and it is fantastic. Even the series 6 Samsung LED Tvs would do fine, however if you have the cash as someone mentioned look at the 4K Tvs or the Samsung ES series 7 8 or 9 LED Tvs.

Mine will be connected to a UA60ES8000.
