    Hi,

    Recently i am observing this issue, don't know whether it is Game issue or Console/PSU issue.

    This happened after i started plaing AC - Brotherhood. When i start my console for the first time for that day. Everything looks fine, hear those sound multiple time which we can hear once CD is inserted(some kind of default sound for few actions). After
    few minutes, without any notification/warning, TV gets dim and suddenly complete console is OFF. middle LED (power led) on console blinks for few 2-3 times(green color). Once i start it again, everything is working fine.

    Does anyone has already reported this if this is related to a game?, i might update this thread further as i have completed the story and moved to AC-Revelation. Hoping not to see this issue. I am pretty sure, it can't be PSU as it works well in later stages.

    P.S: i have kept all auto-shut down settings OFF.

    Xbox One Plug and Play Kit Charging Problems

    My issue manifested a couple weeks later in which the pack would charge but stop charging a minute later. unplugging the cord would result in the controller shutting down a few minutes later. I fixed this while playing Fallout 4 by waiting for the controller to shut down, I would then take the pack out, lick the ends, put the battery back in, it would then continue playing for a few minutes and shut down again. I repeated this process 10 to 20 times until the controller would not turn on due to the pack being completely depleted. I then reattached the USB cord and it is now charging normally. Thank god as it was expensive. I've checked the battery level and it is rising above the red which it would hold at before the fix. IDK if licking the ends helps but it just gives you a 12-volt battery like shock to the tongue.

    My kinect goes into sleep mode and don't turn back on

    I am also seeing this issue. I tried hard resets or unplug and replug but eventually it goes back to sleep again.

    I am pretty sure this is related to the latest updates (maybe shutting down the USB ports). The Xbox One S uses a powered adapter for linking with Kinect so shutting down the port doesn't shutdown Kinect.

    But further investigation and analysis I am willing to help do if needed.

    Can't uninstall anything

    Try a full shutdown.

    Press and hold the power button on the Xbox until it shuts down.

    Once the light on the power brick has turned orange you should disconnect the power for a few minutes.

    After a few minutes plug back in, switch on and try again.

    i had the same problem for a few attempts, first time it opend up the drive select screen fine, but i decided to create more room, and then it wouldnt open again, i tried several times, and then gave up shut down and tried again about 15 mins later, worked

    kinda glad this is a game problem, as i thought it was my xbox.

    Xbox One Random shutdown issues

    I'm experiencing the same issues. My system was working fine for the first few weeks but when I start playing it today, it keeps shutting off. Every time I'm 5 minutes into the game the system will shut off. And there would be a few times when after it shuts
    off, I will turn it back on and it will shut off a second later. It will do this like 5 times until it turns completely on. I hardly was playing my Xbox one. I probably played it 10 times since I bought it.

    Xbox one won't turn if after disconnecting from live.

    That works to shut it down and it does then shut down later (no power cord unplugging required). It does not, however, answer my question of why it happens in the first place and how to prevent myself having to do a forced shutdown in the future.

    I think that Xbox LIVE will continue for a long time -- with Destiny coming out in September, I don't think Microsoft would shut down the servers at least until 2018. The Original Xbox had games still releasing until 2008 (Madden NFL 09 was the last Original
    Xbox game released in August 2008). Many games on the Original Xbox came out steadily until about December 2006- more than a year after the 360's launch in North America in November 2005. Xbox LIVE servers shut down in April 2010. I think we may see something
    similar -- though with the 360's install base so large (and the Xbox One still so little) we may see 360 extended longer than previously thought. When there is hardly any games on the 360 being released, we could see that as a warning sign that a few years
    later Xbox LIVE for the 360 may be shut down.
