    Xbox 360 S Power Supply


    My power supply died for my Xbox 360 S the other day. I am looking to buy one from somewhere. I have tried the my service route and after getting increasingly frustrated with this I have given up.

    Why? Firstly my device wasn't showing after registering it. I adjusted my profile to make everything match up and it appeared. I went to order replacement accessory. My warranty has expired so I clicked view eligible accessories only to be reloaded to the
    home page. Go back to manage devices and there are no bloody registered devices again. Tried to adjust my profile and now all that seems to do is refresh the home page.

    Can anybody help?

    Hey there K1NGcLiFtOn!

    Just to make sure I understand, was the old console an original white Xbox 360 console, and Elite, or an Xbox 360 S console?

    We always recommend using the power supply that was designed for that style of console. For example: You can't use an Xbox 360 S power supply with an Xbox 360 E console.

    So if your old Xbox 360 console is not an Xbox 360 S console, we suggest
    not     using the power supply from your new Xbox 360 S console with it.

    The power supplies used by the original Xbox 360 consoles are not compatible with the Xbox 360 S console. The Xbox 360 S console uses only a 135-watt power supply.

    Hey NMgamer,

    I'm sorry to hear about this issue being experienced with your Xbox 360 S not powering on.

    If you've tried everything with the power input then either the power supply or the internal hardware responsible for distribution of the power is no longer working and would need to be replaced. Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer services Xbox 360's or
    sell power supplies for the Xbox 360. The best way to go about this is possibly find a local third party electronic repair center that specializes in consoles or see if you can find a power unit on Amazon or eBay. Here is more information on the Xbox 360 power

    I know the question is answered, but just to let you know, you can get another official xbox power supply from microsoft for your region. All xbox 360 s powers supplies are compatible with all xbox 360 s models, no matter where you are in the world. So
    a UK power supply will work on a US console.
