    XBOX 360 S Not Showing My Specific WiFi Network


    I recently plugged in my 360, i bought it not too long ago but never played it much. I started and tried to connect to xbox live, but when ever i go to connect to my wifi, it doesnt show my network, only this other one thats near me. This really confused
    me because literally every device i own shows and is able to connect to it. hell im even connected to the network on my PS4, but for some reason, it doesnt want to show on my 360. ive tried restarting the router and xbox and most of the steps on the support,
    but nothing is working.

    This may be common knowledge but when I turn on my pad it shows on my routers ARP/DHCP table as an active device, I didn't realise it connected to the wifi network as well as the xbox ?

    as i said in my post, ive tried the stuff listed on the support page, that doesnt work for me. i specify it, but it still doesnt show up. my wifi is literally the only network that doesnt show up on my xbox

    What specifically would allow the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to connect while the built-in wifi would not?

    My Xbox 360 S detects a wireless signal with 4 bars, and I am testing it while sitting it right next to the modem, so there is no issue with signal strength.

    My Xbox 360 S's built-in wifi is able to connect to a hotspot, and it is even able to connect to my neighbor's wifi from my house.

    Do you get a specific error message? Does your WiFi SSID (network name) not show up?

    Is the Xbox One connected to the WiFi but does not connect to the Internet?

    What network hardware are you using?
