Xbox 360 S Internet Adapter?

So I know that the S model has built in wifi, but would I get faster internet speed with an adapter, or is the S model not compatible with said adapter? Yea I know what year it is, but I just recently got a used 360 S.

The Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter is compatible with both the original Xbox 360 console and the Xbox 360 S console. If you connect the adapter to an Xbox 360 S console, it will disable the internal wireless N feature of the console.

Using this adapter will disable the internal wireless of your Xbox 360 S.

Hi Jaden, I’m Ryan.

What Xbox 360 model do you have? All the ones prior to the Xbox 360 S required the network adapter (as the consoles didn’t have built-in WiFi) for an internet connection to Xbox Live.
