Xbox 360 S I have Red dot when i plug in HDMI cord and error code E82

E82 is displayed when you use your Xbox 360 console. In regards to the red dot, you can attempt to troubleshoot using the Xbox 360 Flashing Lights
Solution but it would be recommended to also use the correct HDMI cord for connection to your television as those for other devices may have different specifications resulting in the lack of the start up screen. Xbox

Situation has improved but only after pc hdmi plugged in but wont start up screen

Sounds like the video card may have failed. Try unplugging the console for 4 to 5 minutes then trying again. If it still doesn't work you will need to have the console repaired or replaced.

It looks like it's the Red Dot of Death, if it's a solid red dot, it's Hardware Failure as in the console has died,

Best option would be to upgrade to an Xbox One / S / X, or to save up and wait until late November - December for the Xbox Series S / X.
