XBOX 360 s goes in-to standby

Hello peeps I'm having trouble with my xbox 360s 250GB.

When I turn it on to start my session I get maybe 4-5 minutes on the console and it beeps like I pressed the power button then it dies,

It sort of goes in-to standby and the power light flashes 4-5 times then it switches off, this happens 2 to 3 times then it starts working normally and I can play for hours.

When turned off the powerpack light is solid orange, When turned on the powerpack light is solid green.

Auto shutdown is disabled and I've cleaned the power button with a dry tissue.

I really want to know whats wrong with my xbox and if this problem is going to get worse?

Auto off after installing?

Yeah I had this question also. Xbox 360 used to continue to download when you shut it off then complete the shutdown. Since Xbox One goes into a connected standby vs shutdown, I would imagine it would still download but haven't been able to confirm yet.
Anyone know if the system still downloads while it is in standby?

 

Xbox 1 S Network connection toggles on/off while in standby

I have my xbox 1 S connected using a lan cable to my router. So I can see the connection, which while on is normally green for gigabit, and while in standby its normally orange. The issue Im having is on my new S model, while in standby the network connection
is constantly toggling on and off every other second. It did this all night, not sure if that is very good for the network adapter. When the system is on its normal and if I shut off the xbox the light goes off, but I need it in standby so I can receive
updates. The version os that it updated too on startup ends in 725.

Is your console in an open area that is well ventilated (gets plenty of airflow)? It always pays to make sure that your console has plenty of airflow around it and that there are no other heat-emitting devices (including set top boxes etc..) nearby, that
may artificially increase heat in the area. It sounds like your console could be overheating.

If the console and power brick are both cool to the touch, then it may be another issue you are experiencing (likely related to the Power Brick it's self). You can find out a few more troubleshooting steps for this issue here; Xbox 360 Console Turns Off Unexpectedly
