Xbox 360 S Freezing Sporadically

Over the last 3-4 months, I have experienced my 360 S freezing sporadically during game-play and the last page of the dashboard (this is the only page I have had freezing on). I have tried to clear my hard drive's cache, but am not sure if that helped due
to the infrequency at which this issue occurs. I have also tried blowing out any dust that I could visibility see around the console and it still has done nothing to help.

Anyone have more ideas about what I can do to stop this issue from occurring? Or is my 360 on the fritz and going to die soon? I'm guessing the latter, but I like to find out before I have to go out and buy a new system.

Does your XBOX360 freeze?

My console freezes at white Xbox 360 logo start up screen

I have a Xbox 360 S with 4gb flash memory, it was purchased in November 2011 and is freezing every time I power it up and does not go into the dashboard. I've followed steps on xbox.com/support but nothing has worked. What happened to my Xbox 360 S? I
thought this model was supposed to be better than the earlier Xbox 360 models...

This issue is occurring on both disc based and digital games.

Sorry to hear about the freezing issue. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Clear your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times.
  
• Press the power button on you Xbox 360 console.
• Once you console is off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and check to see if the freezing issue occurs.

I will try that and see if it helps any. Though, like I said in my post before, the freezing happens so sporadically I'm not sure what helps and what doesn't.
