    Xbox 360 S 250GB not reading disc's


    Hello,

    My NTSC region Xbox 360 S 250GB has stopped reading disc's. I now live in Ireland, so when I get it sent off for repair I want to ensure it remains NTSC region and not changed to PAL. This is because of my game region and may I get banned for tampering.
    What can I do?

    Disc issues

    I recently found a fog machine and while I thought I had covered up my Xbox 360 system - it is now not reading disc's the download content is playing like it's supposed to - but it's not accepting or reading the disc and I did try a few different ones

    People move all the time. I don't think you'll get banned if they send you a PAL console. However, your best bet for answering that question would be to contact phone support for your region to see what they suggest.

    Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

    Similar issue. Xbox 360 S 250gb, plays large collection of discs no problem. Brand new AC4, and Rocksmith 2014 won't load (unable to read). New AC3 plays fine. No used games, these are all brand new.

    DVD playback quality is still atrocious.

    I still think Xbox 1 is a better DVD player than my Xbox 360 slim 250gb console. When I play any DVD on my 360, even if it has one tiny finger print smudge on the disc, the Dashboard will bring up a notification bubble "attempting to read media". On Xbox
    1, it can have several finger smudges on the disc and the Xbox 1's disc drive will still be able to play and read it. I must be one of the lucky ones with a good disc drive and have had Xbox 1 since Day 1 (Day 1 edition) ;D
