xbox 360 retrocompatibility

i have a xbox one and a gold account. now with the retrocompatibility i'm trying to download xbox 360 games with gold. i've made it on dirt 3 but now with Dungeon Siege III, i can't, always says

Hello everyone!

I have got my lovely xbox 360 for a bit of time.

I had a problem with it (the memory and a failure). I have put a USB memory but now I can not play to my old game from the original xbox.

These are games on witch I have play for year with the xbox 360. So I know that they work but they say that even though it sees that these are xbox games, it does not play them.

I have made the last xbox update but it still does not work.

Can anyone help me?

Hello there,

Backwards compatibility requires an official Microsoft-licensed hard drive, hence why the feature stopped working when you removed the hard drive. A flash drive is insufficient in this instance.

Are you having the issue both online at xbox.com and on the console? At xbox.com ensure your country in the bottom left hand side is correct. If it is not just click on the country to change.

Sometimes free gold trials perform differently to paid subscriptions.

You could possibly clear your cache to see if that can remove any minor issues with the system. Here are some instructions, I hope they help.

1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

2. While in your hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them. (This may include the game you are trying to fix)

3. Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'.

Try again.

I can't transfer from xbox 360 gold free games from my xbox one. just from the site, i've made it on xbox 360 gold on dirt 3, but i can't with Dungeon Siege III

 

Hi Nuno, I'm a little unclear, are you saying you're trying to purchase the game on Xbox One?

If so, be aware that currently you will need to "purchase" the game on either Xbox 360 or
Xbox Games Store, after which it will show up for download in My Games & Apps on Xbox One.

it all went ok on dirt iii from xbox 360 game with gold, and everything with games from xbox one, just not in this particulary game

 

Okay, so where does that error code occur? On your Xbox One or on Xbox.com?
