Xbox 360 recover account to Xbox One

I need help trying to find out my email address to my old 360 account I kind of remember the email address I remember the number it was linked to I just don't have the phone and I have a new number I do not remember the password

Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

At the moment if you go to a mates house you can recover your gamertag on their 360, then when you get home you need to recover your gamertag back to your console (unless you use a USB Stick).

I am wondering how it will work with the xboxone? As I dont want to keep recovering my Gamertag everytime I move from my 360 to the xbox one and back again. Will it let you have your account on both machines at the sametime?

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?

WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

Sorry to hear it. You'll need to call phone support for more assistance with this. So long as you can answer some account specific questions they will give you the email for the account. From there you can change the password for it.

Hello, yes this is the case, you first need to add all of the accounts on your own XBOX 360 (the XBOX 360 where the Family membership is purchased) by recovering the gamertags to the XBOX 360. Then add them to the family account, after that process is complete
the other family members are free to recover their accounts back to their own XBOX 360's.

So how will I be able to recover a non Xbox live account from Xbox 360? All I want is to put one of my 360 accounts to the Xbox one but it isn’t signed up on Xbox live so it’s quite literally impossible unless there’s some other way I haven’t heard of..

@Ydnar0290 - There's no way to simply delete an account on the XBOX Live servers. You can only delete your account off of your XBOX 360 if you wanted to. If your XBOX 360 is telling you that there is already an account with your e-mail you would need to
recover the account onto the XBOX 360 by following the directions listed
here. You are allowed one free gamertag change once the account has been recovered onto the console if it was created on XBOX.com. Please let us know if that answered your question.
