    Xbox 360 randomly turns on and off- night and day


    When it has been out of use or not, the Xbox 360 console is turning itself on and off. During gaming it just randomly does it also so not really playable at the moment.

    I have tried moving it from verticle to horizontal and vice versa, hoovered it out, cleaned the sensor and nothing is working

    Sounds like a PSU or switch issue to me, with a 360 being pretty old by now it wouldn't surprise me if either were the cause tbh.

    Have you checked the power cord to make sure it's not faulty? Also the outlet it's plugged into? It could just be general wear and tear. The 360's are getting older now and things do wear out over time.

    no but whenever i put in the disc it would freeze randomly, black screen, my dlc's would be missing, I had to keep turning off the 360 and turning it on all day.
