    Xbox 360 Purchasing and Downloading Games


    I plan to purchase and download a game through Xbox Live. I haven't done this before, but I can't resist the great deals available on some games. Will it send a text or email after the purchase? Will I find a text on the registered phone/email on the registered
    address?

    Games With Gold (Theros) Will not download. Keeps saying Stopped when I try to install

    I saw there is an issue with purchasing and downloading content but it only shows for the Xbox 360 having that issue.

    If you're going to use your CC, then yes, it will send you both an E-mail, and a text message. The E-mail will be "*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***". If you'll use account balance, then I think that's another story.

    I'm going to purchase it with the Microsoft Points (now a monetary amount of $35.00) on my account. Will it send me one under those circumstances or will it not?

    It should, Yes. Anytime any sort of purchase is made in the Xbox Store, you get a purchase confirmation. If you are looking for some sort of proof should something go wrong however, don't worry. You have multiple forms of "proof". Your download history on
    your Xbox 360 will show any purchases you have made, and you also have
    https://commerce.microsoft.com     at your disposal, which also shows any purchases you have made, in a much more detailed manner.

    If 360 games are not compatible with xbox one then the option to re-purchase or download for free won`t even exist.

    There simply won`t be any 360 games on the xbox one.

    As far as the 360 goes,anything you have already purchased will always be there to download for free,for as long as microsoft support the 360.

    Downloadable content and games are not compatible between the Xbox One console and Xbox 360 console. If you have purchased downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and would like to use it on the Xbox One, you will need to purchase it on the Xbox One.

    It sounds like the game may have been purchased on another account on your Xbox 360. If you look for the game in the store, does it give you the option to purchase it? If so, that would mean the game was purchased on a different account.
