    Xbox 360 Profiles and Storage Systems Gone


    I went to play a game on my Xbox 360 Slim, and I noticed that all my profiles and storage systems do not show up. When I went in to look, there was some game data (very little though), and all of it was under "Unknown Profile".

    I do not play online, I only like single player games, but I tried to download an update from Xbox Live. It restarted, then started preparing another update. I did this in order to download a profile. It updated successfully, so I entered my email to download
    the profiles.

    I downloaded a few, the ones I mainly use, BUT the game info is still not there. All my saves are still gone.

    Please help, I have spent so many hours on games and don't want to lose it all.

    Magic 2015 - start campaign (deck) over?

    Well you should be able to just go to system settings and then to the data storage and delete your profile for magic 2015.

    From dashboard, go to settings, then system, then storage. Choose your storage device and delete profile data under Magic 2015.

    XBOX360 ELITE unable to read hard drive and/or download update.

    Upon start up, XBOX 360 logo screen lags longer than normal. Then "Update Required" screen appears and I am prompted to download update to connect to xbox live. System update reads " You do not have enough storage space to take this update, please connect
    an xbox 360 storage device with at least 190 MB of free space". At which point I show no hard drive space and all of my profiles are gone. I cannot log in to xbox. Assuming all of my space is gone (120 gig drive), would all of my profiles disappear? or
    has the drive crashed? Thanks!

    Hi Morgan!

    Thanks for reaching out to us. We recommend that you do a bit of troubleshooting to your hard drive on your 360.

    • First, you want to turn your console off, then
      remove the hard drive      .
    • Once the hard drive is removed, turn the console back on and once it boots up completely and you can see the home screen normally, do a power cycle to the 360 and unplug it as well.
    • During the power cycle, before you turn the console back on or plug it back in, you want to place the hard drive back into the console (be sure to fully insert it firmly) and then power it on.
    • When everything comes back up to the home screen, then check to see if your profile is restored.
    You can also try your hard drive on a different 360 to see if the information is recognized as well; however, if you do all these steps and your information is still not there, then it may have been wiped/reformatted during the latest update or your hard
    drive went bad.

    Of course there is. On Xbox One Go into settings - system - storage, then clear local xbox 360 storage, don't worry, all saves are stored in the cloud. Then once you removed the xbox 360 storage. Start a xbox 360 game, and it will want to download your
    profile, let it, and it should download your profile with your new gamertag.

    Can you try clearing the 360 cache?

    Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

    Clear local Xbox 360 storage. This deletes Xbox 360 games saved locally, but they’ll remain in the cloud.

    After that redownload your profile on the 360 emulator and try again
