    Xbox 360 profile linked to non existent Microsoft account


    Please help.

    When setting up the link to my profile and Microsoft account it seems to have have ignored the typo as I have typed .con instead of .com. I want to reset it but I cannot enter the password as the email does not even exist.

    Is there anything I can do?

    kinect sports 360 needs to be made compatible for xbox one

    As it stands xbox 360 Kinect games wont work with the xbox one Kinect.

    The chances of Microsoft trying to make them compatible if they could are slim to non existent.

    On my Xbox 360 I've had an issue with a pop up asking me to "Add security" to my account by entering the Microsoft account (Email and password) associated with the xbox profile so it can update and check the security of the account. However, I have absolutely
    no idea what account is linked to the xbox account as I made it around 7 years ago. Is there any possible way I could figure out what Microsoft account is linked to my xbox profile so I can connect to xbox live? Or at least change what Microsoft account is
    linked to the profile if possible?

    George, to find out which account is linked to your Xbox profile, you can try the steps in the link below:

    Remember that if the account is non-existent due to the hacker changing the alias, it is very unlikely that you will be able to find it. So, I come back to the point that you need to contact Microsoft account support to see if they can help you with the ATO (Account TakeOver) investigation process.

    Hi jlhbubba1,

    We do have different options to set an email address the Primary email account linked to your Xbox profile however, there are certain grounds that we also need to consider.

    -Existing account has no Xbox Live profile ( If moving the gamertag using an Xbox 360 )

    support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account-on-xbox-360

    -The email account doesn't have an active Microsoft Account.

    -Not an email account's domain is not affiliated with Microsoft (eg Hotmail, MSN, Outlook)

    These reasons are just a few.

    Can I Connect My Offline Profile To My Windows Live Profile?

    A Microsoft account can have a xbox live account/profile connected, it is not automatically there. But whenever you use one on xbox.com, a windows phone or windows 8 pc, one will automatically created when non is existing. And when promoting an offline account
    to a online account you must attach it to a Microsoft account, that doesn't have one attached to it, since only one xbox live account may exist on one Microsoft account.

    on your xbox 360 you need a profile, it can be linked to the account or not, on the 360 itself the profile is mandatory for it to start, on xbox one it only accesses the profile already made if it is linked to a microsoft account.
