Xbox 360 Profile Download Error 80072746

Since the 16th of April I have been trying to download my XBL profile on my X360 with no luck.

Tried clearing cache, resetting xbox to defaults and downloading updates, tried on 3 physical xbox 360 units, tried to download to different storage types. My XBL profile works fine on the Xbox One.

Details for troubleshooting:

What Country/State/Province do you live in? South Africa - Gamertag based on UK

Modem brand & model number: D-Link DSL-2750U ADSL Router

Router brand & model number: Same as above

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Using wired.



Things you have tried:

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? NAT Open, no errors.

Any Error Codes you encounter: Error 80072746 when attempting to download Xbox Live profile on Xbox 360

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Webafrica, tried other ISP account. Same issue.

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

W: 000-000B

X: 0000-F001

Y: 20A8-4840

Z: 0000-0000

ID: FFFF-FFFF

L: 0015-10F0

Q: 0015-10F1

T: Wired

D: 10.0.0.10/255.255.255.0

G: 10.0.0.1

D: 10.0.0.1/0.0.0.0.0

Any help would be appreciated as there is still lots to be played on the Xbox 360.

Downloaded a game and I can't find it

One thing I noticed that our gamer card got extremely high scores. I downloaded another account to the same console and it has no issues.

But thinking about it again before this thing happened I had no problem downloading it.

I think they're trying to upgrade something to prep up Xbox One for our area and something went horribly wrong to people with high gamer score.

 

The thing which bugs me about this issue is that I have Season Passes for Bioshock Infinite, Walking Dead Season 2 and The Wolf Among Us. Not being able to download my profile basically forfeits the costs incurred with those purchases and prevents me from
getting my money's worth with Xbox Live.

Still waiting for any response from Xbox Support on this.

 

good thing I didn't bought anything but to be honest, cost isn't the problem I had in mind but the profile that I've a lot on.

I've been tweeting back and forth but it's going nowhere since most of their solution are vague and irrelevant.

I keep saying that the Xbox One error (80072EFE) keeps showing up on X360 and asked why, they kept avoiding it. That really annoyed me.

 

No reply to this as yet? Saw a similar thread where the non-Xbox Live region excuse was used, this however will not apply in this case.

Any feedback from anybody from support in regards to this issue would be greatly appreciated!

This issue is likely caused by the fact that your physical region and account region are different. We cannot guarantee that Live features will work correctly if the account and physical regions are not the same.

ReD, does this apply to you as well? Is your account region different than your physical region?

 

The thing is I am not going to migrate my UK based account to the South African based region because there is older DLC content which will never come to the ZA region. How does this issue apply to people who travel on tours of duty overseas from their respective
regions and encounter a similar issue?

Based on this comment if I migrate my profile to the ZA region as that is where I am physically based, will it have any impact on the Xbox One? The migration process is once off and a few hours ago I tried to download my profile again with no luck. This
basically leaves me with a lot of paid for season pass content gone to waste on the X360.

 

Not all content is available for every region, so there may be some content that you've purchased that is available in the UK and not South Africa that may be interrupted. In regards to your Xbox One service, South Africa is currently not a support region
according to our Xbox One Disclaimer and you may also see an interruption when migrating your account to it's correct region. Again, we highly recommend making sure your account and physical regions
match for the best, and correct, experience.

If you are experiencing issues with your purchased content after migrating to the correct region you will need to contact phone support for assistance.

 

I disagree to the answer. I may be physically based in South Africa but my account is still based in the UK region. ZA might not be a region as yet supported for the Xbox One but is this the excuse you give to people who travel with their consoles outside
of their respective home regions? I presume there are a lot of personnel from the US who work overseas yet have local US accounts, just an example.

I have never migrated my account from the UK region.

 

I have the same problem... There is no way to download my account .. I have tried every solution I found and contacted Xbox support 3 times with no result... I changed my region but this hasn't fixed too... Please give me a solution... Thanks...
