Xbox 360 profile doesn't work on the Xbox 360

Yeh defos be trying this first if it happens again, I've had issues before with my profile and allsorts on the 360, the 360 was very temperamental online and still is if not worse now, it's sorted now my profile n thousands of hours of saves are secure for now anyways,

Microsoft could come up with a way for legacy gamers like myself who collect games consoles to always have access to their save data should the worse ever happen, etc downloading my profile elsewhere to use, my idea of that means even if my Xbox 360 can't get the profile I can take it offline n use the secondary external profile file n shouldn't have any problems, it means as a games console collector n life long gamer I will always have access to it,

Just a idea for you Microsoft and I would pay for that option should the solution for that be buying my own 360 profile directly from Microsoft onto a external device, beats the alternative I was looking at with the error that occured and saying goodbye to all my game data,

For some reason, simply resetting reoccurring billing often resolves this error. I guess it’s because it ‘refreshes’ your account/profile and resyncs it back to the Xbox Live network. I would definitely recommend to try this before anything else if you experience this account issue again.

So to confirm, you now receive a different error code when trying to download your profile on Xbox 360?

Does this also occur on Xbox One/Series X|S, or another Xbox 360 console, and are you able to successfully sign in to other profiles on the same console?

There was an account sign in issue recently affecting a lot of players with the error code 80151103, but this should now be resolved as far as I’m aware. The 8015190A error isn’t necessarily related to this, and has a different meaning

If you currently have an active subscription such as Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass, turning on/off recurring billing may help (you can then undo the changes after). This seems to have fixed the error for others so you may want to consider this as an option. To try this, sign in to your services and subscriptions page where you can manage your subscriptions and payments.

Also, do you have 2FA (Two Factor authentication) enabled on your account? This security feature unfortunately never worked too well on Xbox 360 consoles, and can also cause problems on Xbox One and Series X|S too. If this is enabled on your account, try temporarily turning this option off to see if this helps.

Sometimes there are account errors that need resolving such as verifying your security info. These issues can be resolved on your account through the Microsoft/Xbox website, as mentioned in the error message. Anything that requires your attention should be highlighted in red on your main account page, then follow the prompts.

If this continues, especially if you only experience this issue on one console, you can always reinstall the latest software update in Settings > System > Storage, and enter the following button sequence on your controller:

X, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.

Select the option to roll back all system updates that are installed. The console will then restart automatically and download the updates again. Refer to this troubleshooting page (specifically solution 7) for Xbox 360, or this guide explains how to manually update Xbox One/Series X|S. If possible, try connecting to a different network like a mobile hotspot as well.

Also keep in mind that the Xbox 360 can only handle passwords to a certain length. If your account password isn’t between 6 and 16 characters, then the console won’t accept it and you won’t be able to sign in - it wouldn’t be possible at all. Your password needs to be more than 6 and less than 16 characters because of this limit/restriction.

Restart your console after performing these steps, then try signing in/downloading your profile again. Be sure to wait at least 10-15 seconds before reconnecting the power to completely reset the power supply

Apologies for the delay in reply was a lil busy yesterday,

But didn't work I cleared the cache about 10 times n restarted the console, tried downloading my profile using the home blade and the initial profile choice, it always fails at about 10% download and says this exactly,

As I said in 1 of my previous statement's if I could even download my profile using another device to connect to my Xbox 360 that could resolve it but the only options for that are downloading on the Xbox 360, I have a pc and Xbox one if either of them could download my Xbox 360 profile onto a external device I could then copy it to the 360,

i also stated that even on the Xbox one whenever I play a Xbox 360 game it disconnects from Xbox live, but it's just the Xbox 360 live I'm still online via Xbox one,

If this can't get sorted for my Xbox 360 Microsoft can at least update Skylanders games to back compat considering I've spent hundreds of pounds on them for the Xbox 360 or does that mean I've to go and buy all the games again for the PS3, which I might add still works well online for use with Netflix and YouTube and I've never once had profile issues with my PS3,

Please find a fix this is seriously gutting for me thousands of hours of play time just gone like that, all my saves from hundreds of games, nearly 20 years of my history gone, I note I don't have this issue with any other games console I own from my mega drive to ps2 n 3 even my psp when it died I replaced it and got access to my saves like monster Hunter freedom at 150 hours, only other consoles with such substantial saves other than my 360 was my PS2 their my most used n cherished consoles please find a fix please 😭

It appears the Xbox one does the same as soon as you start a Xbox 360 game it goes disconnected from Xbox live, but unlike the Xbox 360 my Xbox one profile is still online and has access to my profile,

The only way I would be able to get use out of my Xbox 360 now is to take it offline and create a new profile losing access to all my saves and thousands of hours of play,

In the past you could download your profile onto a dongle or external harddrive then access it, but I don't know how that would be done now without using a Xbox 360 n downloading your profile to the external drive, if I could even download my profile another way that could sort it, but I am gutted I still have lots of games n content that only works on the Xbox 360, it's not backwards compatible like the hundreds of pounds I've spent on Skylanders n hours of play time gone, I do collect games n consoles so it's essential I get my profile back on my Xbox 360, so please find a fix I still love my 360 n would hate to not get use out of it 😭
