Xbox 360 problems with XBL and service alerts

Your updates blow [Mod Removed]. Someone said earlier in this thread don't respond with generic automated garbage b/c it only makes people more frustrated... and then you do it again.

You may think you come across like your helping, but it feels more like trolling.

Because if you were trying to help, then who the hell would actually say 'Just a bit of an update here. There's still no official word...' ???

That guy on twitter, lizardsquad retweeted the name of this attacks "leader" dox_boi. Said to have ddos'd xbox simply because he lost in a game of SnD. Its sad because a kid who can pull off an attack of this scale isn't stupid, what an credible waste of
potential. Next stop federal prison...

Connection issues like that are one of the main problems with a service interruption like the one Xbox Live is experiencing now. I'm afraid since it's an issue with Xbox Live Core Services, there's no troubleshooting you can do from your end.

The only real course of action we have is to wait for the Xbox Staff to resolve this issue and get everything back online and working normally. I've heard from a few people that say they're able to connect, so I take this as a good sign, but really the only
official word will come from the
Xbox Live Status page.

By the way, if for some reason your connection issues aren't resolved when the Xbox Live service is back to normal, let us know so someone can help get to the bottom of your issue!

Yeah this crap is getting crazy! I know how you guys feel. Have not been able to connect all day long. This keeps up i may just cancel my membership!

why do ppl keep saying they are so mad at MS .. PSN was and is being attacked also... and was attacked a lot more over the last few months. only now are we getting attacked on the XBL network they hit only Destiny before.. i feel lucky to be honest... it
has been rough on many networks. please blame the hackers not the victims ... god dam ppl.. not like you could solve the issue your smart self or you would have found and hacked back the lizard squad .. they are using Ddos a very simple thing, It uses every
dumb humans computer who leaves it on and/or has bad firewalls. then send multiple connections to the network they wish to crash. ALL OF US trying to re log in DOES NOT HELP THIS LOL. so again stop yelling at MS feel bad for XBL PSN ETC. and all of the players..
this group is aggravating childish and not benefiting anyone but them self's.

 

Yeah I remember when Google and Amazon were brought down for going on 14 hours. Oh wait that never happens. Those companies are massive behemoths with massive bandwidth - something I thought MS also was until recently.

 

yeah.. heres the thing maybe you don't understand the internet. EVERYTHING GOES DOWN. Amazon went down a TON of times last Christmas. and they are repeating the floods and WE are helping by flooding reconnects. the connect limiters are there to help stop
crashes and these ppl found exploits.

 

I only have 4 days of internet left before I ship out. Please get this resolved. I planned to game all day today and guess what, i can't. This has been going on all week. How long does it take for a professional to resolve this issue? I get the feeling that
more than xbl is affected. Alot the time stamps on the forums are off. Also I the live web site went down earlier this week. That suggests a much bigger problem than ddos attack. Do you think the "professionals" would let us customers know if there was a serious
hack going on?

 

that i agree they should inform us and let us know the truth not tell us to go to a website that is or was down lol. but i assume the worst and we have to wait for this mess of a group to be arrested.
