Xbox 360 Problem with Credentials Error 80151103

Trying to download my profile onto a new (used) Xbox 360. The console is wiped and cache cleared. I'm getting error 80151103 about have a problem with my credentials. My password is less than 16 characters. I enabled 2 factor authentication, then used an app password but this yielded the same error code. I disabled 2FA, used my typical password and yielded the same error code. I've changed my password and logged in and out of the MS website numerous times. Hoping someone has more advice. Thank you.

Happy to report, after a couple hours of doing all the things you see online to fix this issue (change password, 2FA, cache clear, etc), I was able to get logged in. I created a new email account (gmail, not that the brand matters) and a new xbox account/profile (using the 360). Initially that was also denied, but I noticed MS sent me an email to validate my email address on the account. Using my PC I validated the email on the new account. I then tried to create the same account again on the 360 and this time it worked. I then logged out of the new account and tried to log in to my old account. It worked! Getting a successful login using a new account must have knocked something loose to make way for my old account.

Hope this helps some other frustrated folks out there.

It's an issue that's Xbox wide, it is most likely some kind of authentication issue between the 360 servers and the MS Master Authentication servers. If you can happily sign-in to account.microsoft.com, you should be fine to play One, Series and Windows (MS store) games.

Every single user that is using a 360 console, or is emulating a 360 game on their One or Series console is affected. You are not alone in this issue.

I've now got error code 80151103. Am I getting any closer? I notice that waiting meant I was able to use my password this far. I also tried signing up to Xbox Live again, which my Xbox 360 claims is free with the system. How would there be a problem with the credentials I am using?

My profile won't download. I get an error message 80151103. I tried all the options they gave. The message mentions a problem with the login credentials. I also changed the password.
