    Xbox 360 Power Supply


    Okay. So i have a xbox 360 s. When I plug the power supply directly into the wall, the brick comes on with an orange light. When I turn the Xbox on the light changes to green, like normal. But when I play the Xbox for an hour or so, it immediately turns
    red, and shuts off but the supply isnt hot. Is there a way of fixing it or do I just need to buy a new brick.

    Decoy, please review the link I provided, specifically:

    PSUs are designed to be used only in the regions where they are sold.

    Don't try to use an Xbox 360 power supply that was built for a region that has different power requirements.

    Don't use an unlicensed accessory, such as a non-Microsoft replacement power supply or any accessory that plugs in between the Xbox 360 console and the power supply.

    Don't use the Xbox 360 external power supply outside the country where the power supply was sold. If you use the power supply in a different country, the power supply or your Xbox 360 console may be damaged, and the warranty may be invalidated.

    Hi, I have an Xbox 360 that the power supply seems to be failing on. I would like to purchase a new power supply but am having trouble finding one, would a power supply for a Xbox 360s slim be compatible?
    No. The xbox 360 slim power supplies have a completely different connector so those wont work with a normal 360.
