    XBOX 360 Power Supply Red Light


    Recently my XBOX 360 has been suddenly turning off while I'm playing a game and when this occurs my power supply has a red light. I've tried unplugging the power supply and leaving it for a few hours but when I start playing again it turns off within 20
    minutes. Any help is appreciated.

    Sorry OP I forgot to ask what colour is the light on the power supply when this happens?.

    XBOX 360 Power Supply Red Light

    Sounds like your power supply is overheating. You should look into purchasing a new one. You can do this from the Repair page.

    Power light turns solid red

    Is the red light on the power supply or the XBox 360 S console? If the red light is on the power supply it is a good assumption something might be wrong with the power supply. If replacing the power supply does not work I am sure you could sell the new
    power supply to get your money back. It is certainly a cheaper option than buying a new 360.

    On the console, is it blinking or solid red light? A blinking red light on the power button means that your console doesn’t have enough ventilation. The red light will continue to blink until the console cools down. If solid red around the power button,
    it is possible that you will need to replace the console.

    My Brick light keeps Turning red for Fault.
