    Xbox 360 Power supply doesnt work. replacement needed.


    Hi. I have had my xbox 360 slim for over 5 years. yesterday the power supply stopped working. I have tried all the suggestions on line but nothing works. it just flashes an orange light when I plug it in. I was wondering how much a replacement would be and
    how I get one?

    the power supply I have is model number: A10-120P1A

    any help would be great.

    Connecting sat box to XB1 - What are the actual benefits?

    They sent me a replacement unit - doesnt work stand alone but works with the power supply they sent me. Shame it needs power but all works!

    Xbox one will not turn on, power supply with no light

    ya it works fine other wise my buddy's power supply works, like my power supply doesnt ever have a light that is on regardless of how it is plugged in so ill get a replacement, 12 days according to MS

    You can find power supplies on Amazon for the xbox 360 or I believe you can get them from Microsoft. I would look at amazon to start for a console that old.

    Hmm... This could be a power supply problem, are all the cords in firmly? My first Xbox had a similiar problem in which the power brick was faulty and had to be replaced although it showed some red ringson the xbox.

    What is the colour of the light on the power brick, if it is flashing or red it will need to be replaced.

    Read this article and see if you can do anything yourself.

    Flashing orange, solid red, or no light: Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:

    1. Plug your console’s power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.
    2. If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.
    If your power supply light is still flashing orange, solid red, or unlit, your power supply needs to be replaced. You can
    order a replacement Xbox 360 power supply from our Xbox Online Service Center. Console registration is required to replace the power supply under warranty (the power supply
    warranty is the same as your console warranty).

    Of course. Replacing the power supply would be OEM Microsoft. Small electronics from a parts console.
    But be advised that Xbox doesnt sell only the power supply...You will need to search in the retail shops.
