Xbox 360 pixelated screen/ (or) freezing mid-game Cod Ghosts Online

Hi,

Basically, problem is that recently purchased (2nd hand) Xbox 360 keeps freezing or becoming pixelated/ full of green-purple artefacts whenever I play cod ghosts online. Weirdly, this only happens when I play online and usually happens between 10-20 minutes
of play. I played about 5hrs straight of campaign and didn't have a single problem. Furthermore, the problem only occurs when playing through hdmi (I tried scart earlier and it worked for over an hour with no problems). I've exhausted every possible avenue
to try and fix it but to no avail. I've tried every combination of video settings e.g. 720p/1080p, display discovery enabled/disabled, different hdmi color spaces etc etc. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the disc, playing without the disc installed,
three different hdmi cables, clearing the system cache but all to no avail. The console looks barely touched and completely new and everything seems to be running smoothly but I just can't work out what's going on and what I should do next. I even tried contacting
the xbox ambassadors who couldn't work out what to do.

So I was wondering if anyone on here would have any advice for me. Thanks in advance.

Does your XBOX360 freeze?

I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

You never know what the owner did to it.

You should get a new Xbox next time.

Did you try a different HDMI cable?

Did you try to use a different TV ?

If your TV has more HDMI ports, try a different port.

It sounds like an HDMI issue with the port of the TV, cable or the port of the Xbox.

If it´s the HDMI port of the Xbox you need to go back to "scart" like you tried.
