Xbox 360 PC Wireless Reciever

Discus and support Xbox 360 PC Wireless Reciever in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I just bought a xbox 360 controller reciever that plugs into the computer, then wirelessly connect the 360 controller. i tried installing the software...     Xbox 360 PC Wireless Reciever


    I just bought a xbox 360 controller reciever that plugs into the computer, then wirelessly connect the 360 controller. i tried installing the software and it didn't work. i dragged it all to a folder on my desktop and tried to do it again. it installed but
    my controll wont sync. device manager says its unknown device. tried updating driver, didn't work. said something about hash file not being present. i tried downloading a file online for the driver for microsoft which was easily findable before BUT NOW I CAN'T
    FIND IT ANYWHERE. i used to have the options of different drivers i had before. but NOTHING IS WORKING NOW. IM REALLY **** OFF ABOUT IT. PLEASE HELP

    can i use xbox 360 wireless controller with my xbox360?

    You don't need to plug the reciever from the set into your Xbox 360 console (in fact the reciever wouldn't work on the console).

    Instead, simply bind the controller itself to your console directly, as per
    the instructions that Taidara linked    .

    Only the PC will need the wireless reciever.

    If you wish to use the controller on the PC again, you'll have to bind the controller with the wireless reciever on your PC again, by pressing the button on the wireless reciever, and the bind button on the controller.

    Actually thats not entirely true, broadcast game is avaiable but requires a Windows 10 pc and an Xbox 360 reciever (USB) and Xbox 360 wireless Racing wheel

    Is the controller a wireless controller or wired? If it is wireless, how are you connecting it? If by using the play & charge kit, then the Xbox 360 controller will not work, as the cable is only recognized on PC for charging only. You need to use a Xbox
    360 Wireless adapter for PC to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your PC.

    you may have uninstalled the driver by accident or have you moved the receiver to another USB port as of late?

    i would try reinstalling the drivers for the reciever. i had this issue after plugging it into another USB port.
