Is the passcode on an Xbox 360 or the passkey on the Xbox One. If it is in fact the family passcode on the Xbox 360. You can follow this Guide to

reset the passcode on the Xbox 360.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue, I would recommend going through "How to reset the pass code for parental controls
on Xbox 360."

If you are still unable to unlock this then I would advise you
Contact XboxCustomer Support for further assistance.

so I play the Xbox one and I played 360 along time ago it does work it has the red circle but anyway I wanted to play bo2 or Call of duty black ops 2 on the Xbox one so I put it in there a few months later I put a passcode on it for like the 360
NOT THE XBOX 360 CONsole on the Xbox One were it lets you play 360 games anyway I put a passcode because a hacker but that is taken cared of and I forgot that passcode can you please tell me how I can reset the passcode.

not the Xbox 360 console passcode on Xbox one 360 compatible I forgot my passcode ill show you on mixer name is jojo6616 around 7 pm or 6 pm ill be on I will show you with mixer if you don't know also says Xbox 360 so ill know.

Hello, to reset your xbox 360 parental passcode first sign in to your Microsoft account at devices, then locate your registered Xbox 360 device, then select more actions, then select reset passcode, and finally follow the instructions on screen to reset

If you have forgotten your passcode for your Xbox 360, you can reset it by answering the passcode question you created when you set up parental controls.

If you don’t remember your passcode question or don’t know the passcode for your Xbox 360, you can reset the passcode online.
You must meet the following criteria to be able to reset your passcode online:

Your Microsoft account must be an adult account.
The console must be registered in your name.

Sign in to your Microsoft account at Device services.
Register the Xbox 360 using the console's serial number.
Select More actions, select Reset passcode, and then follow the instructions to reset your passcode.
