    XBOX 360 Original Elite 120Gb Won't load past startup screen.


    So, I start my Xbox and, of course, the logo screen appears. I get all excited as I watch the little white snake thing chase its own tail. Thinking about the hoardes of demons i might slay, or the armies of aliens waiting to be challenged. Except, thats
    where it ends... little white snake thing... forever...

    Ive tried removing the hard drive. Boots up immediately. Tried it with a flash USB and downloaded the immediately prompted update. Worked fine. Turned off the console, disconnected everything from everything ( including the wall & TV ) and attempted
    to replace my hard drive, with the flash drive attached. Ive been staring at the main startup loading circle for almost an hour now.

    Any Ideas or knowledge on this would be appreciated greatly XBOX 360 Original Elite 120Gb Won't load past startup screen. :)

    PC USB Wireless XBOX 360 Controller on the XBOX 360?

    Hi Guys,

    My friend has a PC USB Wireless Xbox 360 controller, and I figured it would work for use on the XBOX as well. I plugged it into the front of the XBOX360 using the top USB port, and everytime I plugged it in the screen would freeze. I tried it initially at the first XBOX360 load screen, and it froze. I then loaded NBA2K13, plugged it in again, and the game froze. Does anyone know if this controller works with the system? I have the ELITE 120gb larger XBOX360.

    Won't load

    My Xbox one won't load any of my 360 games past the 360 loading screen. It only works if I'm not signed in, and once I try to sign in, the 360 menu won't load. And the thing is, they all worked fine last weekend, but now the backwards compatible games won't
    load past the freakin' 360 menu. Can someone help me?

    Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately this sounds like there is an issue with the hard drive. It seems that it has died on you and you may need to replace the drive.

    Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately this sounds like there is an issue with the hard drive. It seems that it has died on you and you may need to replace the drive.

    For Original Xbox games to be playable on an Xbox 360, it needs to be an official Microsoft Hard Drive.

    However, there is no official 120GB hard drive for the Slim, only 250GB and 320GB.

    There is a 120GB for the original-style Xbox 360 and the later Elite, but not Slim.

    If you are using a Slim, the hard drive itself will be the problem and you will need an official one.

    If you have an official Xbox 360 hard drive that is either 20gb or 60gb (White Xbox 360), 120gb (Elite), 250gb (Super Elite or S), 320gb (S limited edition or separately bought) orginal xbox games will work as long as they are listed on the compatibility

    Bumping. I waited a while, and I found that the issue does not lie in the game disc. It plays perfectly--no lag, no issues--on my original Xbox. I'm still having the issue on my 360 Elite (120gb HDD that came with the console). Everything is up-to-date and
    even so my console won't detect the disc. I have no issues like this with my Sims 2 original Xbox game. Morrowind is on the list of games that should work on the 360. Please help.
