XBOX 360 only works if the TV is off.

XBOX 360 only works if the TV is off.

When I turn on my XBOX 360 with the TV on, it shuts off and the light turns red.

If I remove the HDMI cable, it works normal light turns green, runs cooler, connect the HDMI cable to the TV on, it turns off.

Can you help me?

Greetings everyone, i have recently want to configurate my dvd player but suddenly i turn on the xbox with my universal controller of my tv , so when i power off the xbox manually and then turn it on again the xbox 360 wired controller dosent work,
and the only controller that works is the tv control, Help me

since you already changed HDMI cable and TV's etc, I do tend to think this is a hardware issue for the console, since as soon as something is connected it shows the red light.

You could try contacting Xbox Support, to see if they have any additional things to try, just be aware that if the console is outside of warranty, a repair request via Xbox Support is more expensive then requesting a repair yourself online via
http://myservice.xbox.com

 

If you have the component cables for the console you could also try using those. If they work for the console then the issue would like with the port for the HDMI cable.

 

It took me on a technicality, it said it is necessary to replace the processor XBOX 360 U$ 200,00

 

Who did you talk to? Repair services cost a little over $100.

If you are talking to a source outside of Xbox for repairs then know that this is considered modding and could result in the console being banned from the service.

 

Out of service, my XBO 360 is no longer under warranty
