Well no one knows when the 360 servers will be shut down but with the recent announcement of backwards compatibility on the xbox one it wont be anytime soon as they will need the 360 servers to run backwards compatible games.

I agree with you all. I miss the 360 chatpad. Chatpad or keyboard or both are urgently requested. I cannot even send messages in Facebook without it and cannot use Smartglass.

There was a service alert to xbox one & 360 Multiplayer servers causing users to not be able to join Xbox Live party chats or play online properly.
