    Xbox 360 Online Safety Not Saving


    Good morning. We are trying to change Xbox 360 Online Safety settings for a Child account using a desktop PC.

    Logged in as the Adult, all settings can be changed for Adult and Child accounts, except for the tab Xbox 360 Online Safety.

    Been trying for a number of days, used different Internet browsers. No error codes are shown. When pressing Save, it simply reverts to previous settings.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello, when i allow join multiplayer games in privacy and online safety it doesnt save it when i submit?

    Only the parent account can make the changes for the child account

    You may want to try a different browser and follow these steps

    Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    Then sign the profile out of the Xbox and back in so the changes take effect.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.

    When you've done all this and saved everything be sure to sign the profile out and then back in so the new changes take affect.
