    Xbox 360 online profile for Xbox One backwards compatibility


    So, every time I try to fire up one of my BC games a 360 notification pops up and says ive been disconnected from Xbox live. So when i try to log into my account it says that the profile doesn't have access to Xbox live on my console and that I need to
    download the profile. So I put in my information and it tells me that my password doesn't work.... I never had this issue before, and am not exactly sure what to do to fix it.

    Helo i have Same problém but only on my Xbox 360 profile on Xbox one profil working normaly only i cant connect online on backward compatible games. yes and i cant redownload 360 profil.

    Same problem, Works fine on Xbox one but 360 and backwards compatable does not allow online play. Tried all the "experts" recommendations and now can not even download my profile to the backwards compatable game when it loads, 2 hrs wasted

    If you are playing an Xbox 360 game through the Xbox One's backward compatibility feature, you are able to play it online.

    While playing the Xbox 360 game online, players on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles would populate the same servers and lobbies.

    As a sidenote, the Xbox 360 version of GTA V is currently NOT backward compatible with the Xbox One.

    This is not true the Xbox One can play quite a few Xbox 360 games through backwards compatibility. Please note the console needs to be online to allow it to download the backwards compatible version of the game.
