Xbox 360/One Networking (wrong category srry)

So, as some of you may know, Call if Duty Black Ops 2 recently became backwards compatible, and therefore can now be played on Xbox One. That is great, it was a wonderful game. However, theres a bit of a caviot or a catch. We are still playing on Xbox 360
servers with people on the Xbox 360. Why is that a problem? Well, for starters while people do frequently mod on the older console, it is not a common issue in Black Ops 2. Why is the issue however, service disruption attacks. It seems that whenever someone
does not get their way they threaten to "boot you offline." While some of these threats are baseless, particularly when made by a 9 year old, others are too real. I have been hit offline numerous times by people who seem agrivated that I am doing better than
them. Regardless, how does Microsoft let this happen? I understand that the when we connect to Xbox Live, particularly online multiplayer, the server is going to have your internet protocol (IP) address. However, I feel like it should not be as simple for
people to access your IP then flood it until you get hit offline (I say flood assuming that most are overwhelming your router with traffic or excessive packets). Anyway, my question is does this happen or has this happened to many other people? Is it worth
purchasing a firewall box or 'network filter' for my router? Do you guys believe Microsoft will ever care enough to take serious action? -- [I say this because, while it is specific to your state, USC Title 18 Section 1030 or the Computer Fruad and Abuse Act
makes this illegal, while people aren't personally covered by this, unless their network or device is a government device, this setups standards for state statutes. (In NJ it is 2C: 20-23).

I have an issue unrelated to all of these categories, but still related to Xbox (specifically, Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules). Where can I go to post about these other topics?
