    Xbox 360 / One Cloud Saves for Silver Members


    Hi

    The xbox one backward compatibility is a big feature, you can even use your old Xbox 360 saves.

    However the 360 requires a gold live membership to use the cloud whereas the One doesn't.

    This doesn't make any sense as I am a silver Member but unable to use this feature.

    Will this ever be changed or is there a solution?

    You don't need Gold for cloud saves, Silver membership works for that also.

    How to transfer Fallout 3 360 games saves without Gold Membership ?

    Does anybody know if there is a way to transfer my Fallout 3 Xbox 360 save file to my Xbox One if i don't have a Gold Membership.

    I cannot use the cloud save option to transfer due to only having a Silver Membship... which seems odd as the Xbox One uses cloud saves just fine.

    Is it possible to save my Fallout 3 game save to a USB Stick and connect that to the Xbox One or is it not recognized - anyone tried ?

    Although the backwards compatability option seems to work alot better than i expected, this restriction alone would stop me using my 360 games as i don't particularly fancy putting in another 116 hours of gameplay again on a single game alone.

    Maybe the cloud saves for 360 should be opened up to Silver Members to get with the times as there is no way in hell i will buy a Gold Subscription just so i can saves my games to the cloud.

    Oh well... back to my 360 !

    Hi, there is currently no plans to remove the gold needed for cloud saves on Xbox 360. I suggest you post on the
    xboxideas.uservoice.com website about this. The more votes it gets, then it might make Microsoft think about removing gold for cloud saves on the Xbox 360.

    Gold is only required to play on-line multiplayer. It "use to" be required for xbox 360 cloud saving (not 100% certain if that is still the case now with backwards compatibility) for xbox one titles though everything is cloud saved as long as your account
    is xbox live enabled (silver or gold).

    You wouldn't be allowed to transfer game saves from your Xbox one to your 360. All of the game save data is in the cloud, so if you are worried about your backwards compatible games and their saves, it would be in the cloud and when you log into your
    360 the games saves would be there as long as you have a Gold members.

    You would not be able to access Xbox One game saves in that way, but the 360 wouldn't use those anyways.

    My backups have disappeared from the Xbox 360 cloud

    Do you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription active? because if the answer is no and you now are a Silver member, you don't have cloud saves anymore because this is a "Gold" features.
