Xbox 360 Not starting up!

Hello! I own an Xbox 360 and its not starting up. When I press the power button it does not even light up and the power supply stays orange. All the wires are connected. Please help!

Xbox not starting up properly

This is indeed a very unusual situation. I think there is a problem with the system software on your console.It may be corrupted or damaged. You should consider requesting a repair via the Official Xbox Website about this matter.

Xbox One Not Starting Up

First time posting. My console won't turn on and I've tried all of the typical methods ( unplugging the power supply from the outlet, the supply itself, and the console) making sure everything was plugged in all the way, checking hdmi. When I press the startup
button on the console the x doesn't light up and it emits a quieter version of the normal tone and nothing else.

Try plugging the Xbox into a new outlet, if it still doesn't work with another outlet then try to borrow a power supply (the xbox's brick) and plug that into another outlet. If that still doesn't work then you may need to buy another power supply. Remember
that power supplies from the original Xbox360 is not compatible with the Xbox slim.

Hey my Xbox is taking a half an hour minimum to start up, it turns on brings up the Xbox 360 screen and then just sits there I'll walk away and come back half an hour or even an hour later and it is still on the same screen, so I always just get frustrated
and shut it off, what can I do to fix this problem

Nuggetman138 - if the suggestion posted by medina4all does not work then you may need to send the console in for a repair. Please be aware that any console older than the S or E consoles are no longer supported for repair.

BrandedCorn - please try removing any storage devices you have from your console and try starting it up. If it boots up then shut it down and add one storage device at a time. If the issue happens again when a storage device is attached that would be the
one causing the issue and would need to be replaced.

Ok,thanks for the info. When you said that they were external I presued a different brand.

If the console is acting up even with official hard drives then it may be in need of a repair. You can set one up at this link.
