    Xbox 360 not showing Friends List or Messages


    So I'm running into an issue where my friends list and messages are not showing on my Xbox 360 when logged in, but they are on my Xbox PC app. I have gone so far as to reformat the hard drive, but additionally, my "device access" list does not show the Xbox
    360 as having access.

    Any ideas on why this happened? I appreciate it.

    Friends list is gone!

    My friends list is showing i just cant join anyones party or send messages/ invites

    Hi cloud I accepted your friends request on Xbox 1 but it's not showing up on my Xbox 360 friend list (now sitting @ 99/100) nor on Xbox.com. Only on my Xbox 1 console. You probably cant read my bio online status or friends list because of this as I keep
    that for Friends Only. It's kind of like a mathematical equation how your friends list works if you own a 360 and 1. My friends list on both 360 and 1 load fine. You cant view followers or know if you have any on xbox.com and Xbox 360 until you log onto Xbox
    1 console or Xbox 1 smartglass. I wished that make it *standardised* across all of Xbox Live.

    It sounds like you might've gotten a bad update for the Xbox 360, we have some information on how to

    remove and re-add an update     for the Xbox 360 try that and let us know how it goes.

    Az, the only way that friends show up on your 360 list, as well as your Xbox One list, is if they add you from either the forums, or whilst using their 360. I have the same problem. When looking at my FL from the forum, it shows that I'm missing about
    10 friends that show up when I'm using the xbox one.

    I have a full Xbox 360 friends list and only 20% of them have an Xbox 1. NO... Xbox 1's Dashboard DOESNT bring up a notifications bubble when they come online on an Xbox 360 console, but the WILL show if they're online or not when you go to your friends
    list. But.... if a friend or anyone on an Xbox 360 console sends you a message, the Xbox 1 Dashboard will show a pop up balloon for that. Then again Xbox 360 and Xbox 1's Dashboard don't show a pop up balloon when your friends log on SmartGlass or this website
    (which is the official Xbox site).
