    I was playing skyrim earlier today when it paused and froze. I took it as a normal glitch and went to turn my xbox off and on again. When I turned it back on, I noticed that it spent a longer time on the startup screen. It then told me that an update was
    available for the xbox, but then told em that I did not have enough storage. I have a 120 gb harddrive installed in the xbox and I'm no where near that amount of space. When I went to check the storage, it said everything was 0. All my games and everything
    are not on there anymore. I tried to redownload my profile, but it is saying that the service is not available right now. I'm at a loss for what to do. I have taken the storage device out many times and nothing is working.

    Hey Avery! Sorry to hear about your storage issues.

    Please check out this troubleshooter and see if it produces any results for you.

    The issues you are describing (aside from Xbox services being unavailable) all suggest a hard drive failure. Try the troubleshooter first and if you continue to have issues you may want to contact the Warranty & Repair center.

    Error code 8007045D indicates possible corruption on your hard drive.

    The first step is to secure your profile and to have it safely stored to a USB flash drive.

    With your Xbox turned off,
    safely remove the hard drive     and plug in a
    USB flash drive configured for use with the Xbox 360.

    Turn on your Xbox and download your profile from LIVE to USB.

    Turn off your Xbox and remove the USB flash drive and add the hard drive back.

    Turn on your console,
    delete profile only    , clear cache, and
    download profile from LIVE    .

    Unable to write to your gamer profile. Please make sure it is not on a removed storage device or on a storage device with low space.

    Hey there Ed! What is your profile saved on (Internal hard drive? USB drive? External HD?). I would try redownloading your profile and see if that yields any better results.

    Try out these steps:

    -Delete your profile ONLY (do NOT delete profile and items; here's a guide:
    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete    ).

    -Clear your system cache 3 times in a row (use this guide:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache    ).

    -Restart your console.

    -Download your profile (use the first guide again).

    I would try downloading the profile to an internal HD (if you have one) for starters. Let us know how that works for you and we'll go from there! ^_^
