    Xbox 360 not powering on correctly? Please help


    Hi guys, I need a little help.

    I have an Xbox 360 Slim. Here is what's wrong:

    1. Before I start my xbox, everything is plugged in nice and tight. The power suply light is steady orange.

    2. I push the power button on the front, which then lights up green and turns the power supply light green as well.

    3. It flashes maybe once or twice, and you can hear the fan on the inside start spinning. The's a jolt from the disc reader, then all of the sudden the on button starts flashing red.

    4. It flashes red maybe one or twise then my Xbox switches itself back off again.

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not the techyiest girl around, but I don't think it's a major hardware issue.

    I've repeated switched it on and off and let it cool, but nothing seems to help.

    I am out of ideas on what to do and sending it in for repair takes so long and costs so much.

    Hope you guys can help. I would love to get back to playing Mass Effect.

    Is it fine if i use my xbox 360 power supply/power brick on xbox one for less than a day? Anyone?

    No it is not fine. Buy a new powersupply. Contact customer support for further details.

    Have you tried unplugging and check that all is connected correctly and try again?

    If all fails it's likely you need to request a repair

    If I read this correctly, your Xbox One S updates by itself and it is very noisy. If that is the case please look at the Power Settings
    Support     page and change your mode to energy-saving.

    If I am incorrect, please can you provide us with more detailed information please.
