Xbox 360 no storage device found

Unfortunately, I am not sure you are going to be able to get this working if you have erased the security sector of the drive which is what makes it a genuine Xbox 360 drive. The security sector is signed I believe by MS private key which is why its not easily reproduce, if at all.

As Xbox dont service the 360 any more, you won't be able to send it to them.

I would suggest speaking to Xbox Support to see if they are able to give you a way to write the data for the security sector.

Sorry to hear it. If you just recently had an update then it sounds as though you may be in the 360 preview program. If this is the case you should post to the preview forums. forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

Also, because you purchased your console from a second hand website you don't know what kind of issues or exactly how old the console was when you purchased it. The issues you described could have been ongoing from the previous user.

When you say format did you d o something you.weremt supposed.to?

Like take.it.out of your xbox .and put it.into.a pc?

They weren't designed to.be read by a pc

You will.have.to. Buy a new drive.if.the elite.or.older.or.if the.internal like s or.e series then you have to buy a drive .bay

You.can erase thrive.by factory reset your console.on the xbox

This only deletes and clear.the data

Pc format erases.the security and os partitions and they can't be restored

You only format non xbox drives on pcs

In your xbox:

System

-> Manage storage devices

-> Erasing Xbox 360 local storage

you need tohave a usb for xbox specificaly made.
