Xbox 360: no signal when connected to HDMI or AV

My name is Lucas and I'm experiencing problems with my Xbox 360. Four years ago, I replaced my old LG 22" TV with a refurbished Samsung 40" Full HD TV. No problems on this transition, since I was using an AV cable. I started using HDMI cables one year
later the change, since it was easy to disconnect and connect again. No problem on that, also.

Today, I tried to power on my Xbox. Instead booting up and start the dashboard - as normal - I could only see a message from my TV: "No Signal". I tried to:

- disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable;

- change the HDMI cable;

- use a component cable;

- use the original AV cable;

- change the HDMI port;

- reset the display settings as indicated by Mister Cerb in his thread.

None of these procedures worked. All I can see is a "No Signal" message and, when I connect the component cable, the controller doesn't pair with the console. With HDMI, it connects - but don't flash the four green lights on the boot.

There are no error codes or lights. I'm running with a white Xbox 360 (fat model), Jasper motherboard, late 2009, with 256MB of internal memory. I was using a 40GB external HDD to play Grand Theft Auto: 5 and Watch_Dogs, also.

There is a solution to this problem (except sending it to Microsoft)? If someone had this problem and sent to MS as an OOW service: how much it cost?

AV and HDMI cable problems.

A few days ago we had a power outage. Ever since, my 360 will not connect to my TV with the AV or HDMI cables (TV says "No Signal!"). I've used the HDMI cable with no problems since i got the 360. PLEASE HELP!

Hello, when the xbox 360 is connected to a HD TV using the xbox 360 component cable the display works fine. When the xbox 360 is connected using a HDMI cable then the screen is blank with "no signal" displayed. Have tried using forums but no help.

 

I suggest you to check the Power Support, may there is a loose cable, unplug Console from electricity and also check the "Power-Brick" may there is a loose cable...

- If you can try another Screen

- Make shure a Controller is connected to the Console...

- MAy turn on TV after powering up the Console, and other way....

-check if youre in the correct port selecting..

I guess one cable is not proper connected,

POWER;HDMI; Controller

check them again and do not use any power Strip or something like that...

May also remove your Hard Disk...

May she does not boot up because af a broken HD..

Mine was also one time not booting, the Problem was the PowerBrick was not proper conected anymore... and once the HD was broken I thought I Need to replace the Console, but it was just needed a new HArdDisk
