Xbox 360 no lan/wifi connection after lightning strike local internet mast

Hallo,

I don't speak english well so don't judge me.

My xbox 360 slim was connected with the router via lan-cable,

after the lightning strikes every equipment which was connected

via lan is damaged. I can't get an internet connection with

lan or wifi, so is there anything i could do?

maybe buying a usb wifi adapter or something.

Please help my don't want to buy a new one.

Network bridge stops working when I make a different wifi connection?

I am using Win 7. I have an xbox 360 connected to the pc via powerline adapters, am sharing my video library and internet connection using internet connection sharing by bridging my lan and wifi connections.

When I am connected to my apartment's free wifi(SSID Tenant Wifi), the xbox 360 can share the internet connection and access the videos and music on my pc just fine. I am now trying to connect to a different wifi signal (xfinitywifi). When I connect the
pc can use the internet through the xfinitywifi just fine, but my 360 loses connection to both the wifi, and the pc in general. No music, no videos, no netflix. When I switch back to Tenant Wifi everything works normally again.

I have tried rebooting everything (pc, 360 and powerline adapters). I have tried going into the network settings and disabling the lan port, wifi adapter and network bridge, then re-enabling them again. None of this works.

Any ideas?

Connecting to Xbox Live with 802.1x

How do I determine which MAC I need? Because ipconfig /all gives a bunch of different physical addresses and I'm not sure which one to pick. I connect to the school's internet via WiFi, not Ethernet. Not sure which physical address/MAC is the correct one.

The options I have are: Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 12, Ethernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection, Wireless LAN adapter WiFi (I think it's this one), Ethernet adapter Ethernet, Tunnel adapter 6TO4 Adapter, Tunnel adapter Local Area Connection*
2, Tunnel adapter isatap.wireless.umass.edu...

I'm pretty sure it's the Wireless LAN adapter WiFi but I'm not sure. Thank you guys for the response. Keep the help coming!

 

Hey there Superbarsch.

Since this issue popped up, have you tested a different Ethernet cable? Also, be sure to give your network hardware a full power cycle by unplugging router and modem for a minute and reconnecting.
