Discus and support Xbox 360 Networking in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; As none of the chats or calls are connecting!!!!     When i test my connection, it says 'Your DNS server can't resolve Xbox Live server names'??

    Performance of a Game (NAT Settings or not) have very little to do with the Network itself and more of simply available Bandwidth and/ or distance to other Players/ Host or Sever. NAT Settings only effect Party Chat/ Private Chat/
    Match Making/ Messages and the like. Latency or "lag" is excessive Ping and/ or Bandwidth issues (too little/ busy).

    In short, I don't think your Gateway has anything (or extremely little) to do with the problem. It's either your ISP Package and/ or other Players or too many Devices all together on one Network.

    Let's talk xbox live networking. I am very knowledgeable about Gateways and Routers alike but i have some questions of my own about a recent gateway i was given from time warner cable. I have a SBG6580 Gateway (For those who don't know, a gateway is a modem
    and router combo) and i have it setup pretty well in general but i just feel like i am not getting the most out of this thing. It says my NAT is open but my gameplay feels...... sluggish. Anyway have any experience with this particular gateway? Also, if you
    have any questions feel free to post them here, i as well as other will be more then happy to help. Thanks!

    Hi Jaden, I’m Ryan.

    What Xbox 360 model do you have? All the ones prior to the Xbox 360 S required the network adapter (as the consoles didn’t have built-in WiFi) for an internet connection to Xbox Live.
