Xbox 360 & My TV

    Lately, when I turn on my TV my 360 turns on as well. Anyone have any ideas for a fix?

    Help with Xbox one HDMI problem ?

    Hi, Just went from a 360 to a Xbox one today & when I removed the 360 & replaced it with the Xbox one my TV does not seem to recognise it.I then tried another 2 HDMI cables & even used the 2nd HDMI port in the TV ^ still nothing shows up.

    I then take the console in to my kids room & hook it up to her TV & works with no problems at all.

    Any one have any idea what's happening here ?

    Your TV is sending a signal through your HDMI cord telling it to turn on. Similarly my cable box does the same to my TV. Have you changed anything on your TV lately?

    I didn't change anything like equipment of anything, but I did have to reset my DirecTV DVR and that seems to be when the problems arose.

    USB Digital TV Tuner no longer finds any channels after disconnecting, reconnecting and rescanning

    This may be irrelevant, but I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app,
    and the TV tuner uses the TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through
    the XB1's USB port AND an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!

    No good for me either. But I have an Xbox hooked up, a DVD/VCR, an XBox 360, and a cable DVR. When they say to have your tv on, I don't know if they mean in cable mode, or tv mode, or Xbox 360 mode. I don't want to control my tv with it, just my Xbox.

    How do you have your Xbox One setup right now with your TV?

    HDMI, to my 60 inch. 360 is in the same cabinet as well. Also have 2 more Xbox Ones and 360s upstairs both hooked to 32 Inch TVs. And another 360 to my living room 65 inch tv.

    Have you tried all of the steps that are giving to you here :
    support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-360-console-tv     because i have my tv hooked up to HDMI cables and i used the HDMI port 1 or you don't have the correct setting hooked up from your tv to xbox on your tv. is your tv 1080i or 1080p
